CabCo Folkestone Taxi is operated by cab&co ltd. This notice concerns the public website at https://taxifolkestone.co.uk and its contact options. It does not describe every record held by the taxi operator, a driver or an external booking provider.
Information you enter in the contact form
The form asks for your name, email address, subject and message. It prepares a draft in your browser; it does not submit those fields to a CabCo website backend or save them in a website database. Please do not enter card details, medical information or other sensitive details.
Choosing “Prepare” opens WhatsApp or your email app with the information you entered. The chosen provider may receive that information when its app or page opens, even before you send the message. Review the draft before sending it. Preparing a draft is not a confirmed taxi booking.
Enquiries, bookings and external providers
When you send an enquiry or contact us by telephone, the operator receives the information you share to respond to your request and arrange the service you ask for. Steps you request before booking and the performance of a booking can provide a contractual basis for this handling; applicable legal obligations may also require particular records.
Online bookings and payments open in Autocab, rather than being processed in this website. Driver recruitment, corporate enquiries and app downloads also open separate services. Read the notices and conditions provided by those services before entering information. We do not receive payment-card details through this site's contact form.
WhatsApp and your email provider handle information under their own arrangements. See the WhatsApp Privacy Policy and your email provider's notice. External providers may process information outside the UK; consult their notices for transfer and safeguarding information.
Technical information and Google Maps
Delivering and protecting a website involves technical request information, such as IP addresses, requested URLs and browser information, which hosting and security providers may process. This is distinct from submitting a contact enquiry.
The application does not include analytics, advertising pixels or a user-registration system. Fonts are served from this website. Google Maps is not embedded until you select “Load Google Map”. Retention and security
This website does not create a stored contact-form submission or user account. Your browser or chosen messaging service may retain a draft or sent message under its own settings. For the retention period applicable to an enquiry, booking, journey or payment record after you contact the operator, ask cab&co ltd using the details below. Technical-log retention is separate from the life of a form draft.
No internet transmission or messaging service can be guaranteed completely secure. Limit the information you send to what is needed for your enquiry and contact the operator if you have a concern.
Your data protection rights
Depending on the circumstances and applicable UK data protection law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent. These rights are not absolute; contact the operator to make a request or ask which basis applies to your information.
You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). You do not have to contact us first to exercise that right.
