Scope and definitions
This policy describes the application at https://taxifolkestone.co.uk, operated by cab&co ltd. A cookie is a small file stored by a browser. Scripts, browser storage and pixels can also be used to make a service work or to track activity.
What this website currently uses
The application does not set analytics, advertising, login or shopping-cart cookies and does not store contact-form entries in local storage. It has no user accounts, WordPress login, WPForms, Google Analytics or advertising pixels. Fonts are hosted locally. This describes the website application, not a guarantee about every cookie or technical measure used by a hosting provider, your browser or an external service.
No optional analytics or advertising consent categories are currently activated by this application. There is therefore no “Accept all” banner or non-functional preference switch. Adding non-essential tracking would require this notice and the consent controls to be reviewed before it is activated.
Google Maps and outbound links
Google Maps is blocked on the contact page until you choose “Load Google Map”. Loading it connects your browser to Google, which may use cookies or related technologies according to its own policies. If you do not want that connection, leave the map unloaded and contact us by telephone instead.
To end an embedded map connection, reload or leave the page; the map starts unloaded on a new page load. This does not delete cookies already placed by Google. You can manage those in your browser and Google settings. Read the Google cookie information.
Opening WhatsApp, Autocab, app stores, social links or other external services takes you to those providers. Their cookie and privacy notices govern their own sites and apps. Merely displaying an outbound link does not load an embedded version of that service.
Managing cookies
Your browser settings let you inspect, block and delete cookies and site storage. The browser's help pages explain how. Blocking cookies can affect external booking, map or messaging services; telephone booking remains available on 01303 883511.
